Core Finance served as an advisor to Ace Games during its $25 million Series A funding round, which was spearheaded by Playtika, a prominent player in mobile gaming entertainment and technology.
Ace Games develops Fiona’s Farm, a Match-3 puzzle game distinguished by a unique triple layer meta gameplay. The capital will support continued development of the title and user acquisition efforts for worldwide expansion.
The studio was founded by Hakan Baş, who previously co-founded Peak Games before its $1.8 billion acquisition by Zynga in 2021. Ace Games is supported by investors NfX and Actera and operates with a novel approach to mobile casual gaming.
Fiona’s Farm combines three interconnected gameplay elements: customization and base-building, adventure quests for discovery, and narrative-driven role-playing experiences. This structure is designed to acquire and retain users for a longer period than the current top grossing casual games.
CEO Baş expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Playtika to grow titles “into leading mobile game franchises.”
This deal represents Core Finance’s seventh transaction in twelve months and fourth gaming sector deal.
